Making Videos Again

I suppose by now plenty of my loyal readers will have noticed that I've been spending more time making videos than I have writing blog posts. And you're right. It's difficult to manage a blog and a YouTube channel full time when neither of those things pay well enough to move on from my day job. So my time is divided.

But I do like to write. Sometimes I would rather write than record video. Mainly depends on the mood I happen to find myself in. For now, that mood is hungry.

I recently had a spike in my YouTube subs. I went from 13 subscribers before Christmas to 27 last night! It's incredible and I am so happy and blessed. My blog has over 3600 people and I am super thrilled to be doing this. But...

If I am going to continue my endeavors, both YouTube and robbymonroe.com will need to start bringing in more money. For now I haven't even hit my threshold for payment. So I have a few options:

I can sell merchandise - which I do, but the cost is so high that it is hardly worth it right now.

I can sell my books - which I do, but it seems like fewer and fewer people are grabbing copies right now, which is a bit of a bummer.

I can endorse my Patreon account. It is sort of a long shot, but I do have a Patreon where my subscribers can sign up to support me for whatever amount you like. It's optional. You won't lose out on content if you don't. But it's there.

So that's that. For now. I'll eventually start making more money with my blog and with my YouTube account and you'll start to see more and more of me, but for the time being, it may only be one blog post a day and one video.
