Blogging Again

It seems like today is as good a day as any to get back to blogging. Things have been nuts the past couple months! I got married, so that's pretty cool. I hiked a couple mountains, got undressed beside a waterfall in New Zealand, smuggled some sea shells back from NZ, and I think I just implicated myself. Crap.

Anyway, I only have a few minutes before I go pick up my bride from work, but in the meantime, I'm chilling, listening to the sound of the dishwasher and Rob Thomas's new album, The Great Unknown. It's pretty good I suppose. I'm not a huge fan of a few of the tracks, but mostly a solid effort.

None of that is the point though. I'm also hard at work on a top secret project! I can't say much about it right now, but I'm hoping it works out, because it could be HUGE for me and Jaclyn!

My book drops this week, so be sure to get your copy right here on my site! There's a shop on the left side of the screen or under the Monroe Literature button at the top of the site. And since it's out there, I'm working hard to finish the sequel, A Sacred Journey. It's too early to give any details on it, but I promise it's gonna be epic! I don't want to overshadow the first book though, so rest assured that the first volume, A Violent Infinity is pretty good too! As a matter of fact, it's been praised as "pretty good" by my wife - a woman not too enthralled with the genre in the first place. I'll have a video promo with reviews up shortly.

As many of you have noticed, I've also been working hard on some concept art for a pet project of mine called DBZ: Heritage. Certainly by now you guys have seen the posts showing the few pieces of work I've done. Shenron, King Kai, Vegeta and a Beam Struggle are just the first wave. And hopefully in a few years, this will be a reality! If you want to contribute in any way, you can donate to the fund by doing so on the left of this page. If you have art or ideas, submit those to dbz@robbymonroe.com!

Finally I'm gearing up for Season Twelve of my most successful creative endeavor of all time - CM, the comic that I'll probably never stop writing and the comic I'll probably never get out on time. But hey, it takes a lot of work! And anyway, I'm told it's worth the wait!
