Bible and Bag is Getting a Name Change

 For the past few months I have been labeling my Philosophy and Theology posts as Bible and Bag. But after much consideration, I have decided to change that label beginning immediately! Click on to find out more!
Bible and Bag always felt like a bizarre title for a series to me. So in pondering the goal of that series, I decided to move my attention back to a title I used a few years ago in my exegetical papers and studies of the Bible.

From now on, my Bible Study series will be called: 3240 Ministries.

Why 3240? Easy. Jeremiah 32:40 says:
“I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not turn away from Me."

Such an encouraging verse! God, through His divine grace institutes a covenant that can never and will never be brought to an end. That covenant will ensure that God will never turn away from His people and He will do us good.

But it gets better! God will put the fear of Himself in our hearts so that we will NEVER turn away from Him.

Why the fear of Him? It is the beginning of wisdom!

Proverbs 9:10
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

God shall make us wise in Him. God shall be with us forever and not let us fall away from Him in wicked unbelief! Praise to His Name!!!
