New Features Coming Soon!

The site has been doing pretty well lately. With a fair amount of traffic and seemingly loyal readers (you) it feels like this whole thing has gotten off to a decent start.

Here's the thing though. In order to help make this site better, I have to constantly make improvements and upgrades. That means looking at what works and making it better and looking at what doesn't work and making a decision on what to do about it.

So here's what I figured: coming in the very near future, all my serials will be getting their own pages. So you will see them on the top row of the navigation. This will include Tales of the Wedding, You Can Call Me Jack and other stories and comics.

My non-serialized erm... Series(?) will be receiving updated topics. This will be things like Blu Shell Reviews, News, Bloggy Robby and things like that.

What this will allow me to do is to focus the site on optimization. If you want to read a particular story or comic, you don't have to sludge through everything else to get to it. Just go to the dedicated page and that's that. On the other hand, if you just enjoy following my adventures as they unfold here in Alaska (or wherever I go) you can simply subscribe to the blog feed or check back each day (although you should totally subscribe) to see the new stuff!

Additionally, I've already added an option to the site for donating to the site. With your support, I can keep doing what I do. Any donations will go to improving the site and maintaining it or to providing you with better content!

The new topics will be announced in a forthcoming News article here on the site, but will include things like Monroe Literature which will be an update each time a new chapter is released in one of the serials the site hosts or when there is a new book or something like that. Standard stuff really. The new, updated topics will essentially function as categories for News, though not exclusively. This will help you to stay up to date on all the serials (as long as you're subscribed, which you should be) as they are posted!

Other features have already started showing up on the site as well that will attempt to increase the things you can interact with. Polls and surveys, updated post rating system and more will give you a more immersive experience. And remember, I value feedback, so leave a comment and I'll definitely read it!

This fall will also mark the relaunch of my YouTube channel with all new videos and series there too. Of course, it wouldn't be fair to only have the video content on YouTube, so I will always have a player here on the site for all your viewing pleasure!

We are also launching a podcast. It won't be anything too fancy, but it'll be entertaining. Extremely entertaining actually. And you should totally subscribe to it. I don't have a name for it yet, so leave a comment below and tell me what I should call it!

I suppose that's it for now! Thanks and don't forget to like this post, share it, subscribe and comment!
