Hope in the End - The Romance of the Seventh Dhalmir

Lately we've seen a lot of darkness and angst in the fantasy and Sci-Fi genres. Superhero movies and comics are becoming more and more bleak as the technicolor world they inhabited in the 1970s and before is slowly left in the shadows. In fact, a large percentage of literature these days is dark. That's what first sparked in me the desire to create a story filled with HOPE.

MY STORY BEGINS in bleakness as a lot of modern tales are, but we soon move beyond that. I wanted to craft a world full of color and hope. I wanted to give my readers a sense of joy when they entered Eirvah. And so I have created The Romance of the Seventh Dhalmir. I'm not suggesting that bad things don't happen in my story. Of course they do! But I want to give hope IN SPITE OF DANGER. I want my audience to know that no matter how dark the world around may seem, there is always light and hope to be found.
