Blogging seems like a great career. I can write about whatever I want and if enough people read it, I get paid. Pretty sweet gig, right? I think so. But here's the problem: if I keep the current URL for my blog, I get nothing from advertisements. On the other hand, if I buy a custom domain for my blog, it'll both cost me money and it'll be frustrating to go and rebrand everything.

But it's not all bad. Investing in myself certainly seems like a good move! And while I'm at it, I'll be able to buy some ads of my own to increase my SEO and to build a bigger audience, which should also increase my revenue. So I made the decision to go with a new domain. As of today, I am proud to announce that starting on (or before) July 02, 2015, in celebration of our 23rd year, Red7 Entertainment will launch robbymonroe.com. It'll be more than just a blog, but we can't announce right now what that means or what it'll look like, but all that and more will certainly be revealed very soon! So I suppose this is an announcement post of sorts. Stay tuned!
